Tks to whoever who has read my first post. Ya, holding 4 portfolios is sure busy - that is why it is only 1 post since I started. Well here goes my 2nd post, my reflections as a wife. It is also hard to have lived and known someone for close to 30 years from my teens to now on the threshold of being termed middle-age and not be taken for granted. As the saying goes, Man is from Mars and Woman from Venus, as a couple, my other half and I are still so different in our temperament, character and how we view the world and the happenings around us - in particular with the heartaches of our growing children who I am finding so hard to catch up with. My significant other, is just so laissez -fair about everything.. and I guess worse still, he belonging to a race that is very happy go lucky about life does make it sometimes so hard for him to lend alistening ear, let alone a shoulder to share the woes of parenthood. No negatives for him, share the good and save the problems! No empathy, just lots of sacarsicm about your bulging wastline, love handles and crows' feet. Doesn't he understand that sometimes what the wife needs is a little love, (even lies) to keep her hopes high? As a wife, supposed to share his problems his worries - and better make it a one-way traffic. Sometimes I wonder - what has happened to "my husband my friend" or our wedding tagline "and the 2 shall become 1" - maybe we were not insightful enough - 2 shall become 1" actually means 2 problems becomes 1 problem to be managed by the wifE!

Finally! Made it ! Created my 1st post. Courtesy of my daughter, Christalle. The jewel of the family - my birthday present on 26 Dec 1996. My 2 other kids, Christian and Christofle who are supposedly the IT experts had never even helped me to print a document ... guess they are not into this blogging stuff.. hope they are not going to spam this blog as they have done to their little sister.

So how does it feel to be a mother of 3 kids, each in their different milestones of life? Christian is 21 this year .. an adult soon .. Christofle is 18 this year, just on the tail end brink of being a teenager and of course there is Christalle who at 11 this year is just going to enter into the teenage world and swearing off celebrating children's day soon!
